Bridge Event 2018

It’s almost time…the countdown to officially starting middle school has begun!

Last Sunday in NPKids – Sunday, May 27th, 9 or 11 AM  Bridge Event – Wednesday, May 30th, 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM, drop off and pick up at NPC, 19862 Amanda Park Dr. Lutz, FL 33558

Bridge Event is a day set aside to help our 5th grade students to “BRIDGE” from elementary to middle school. This one day event is centered around God’s word and has several breakout sessions to stretch and challenge students in their faith. Our theme during Bridge Event is UNEXPECTED. People don’t expect much from kids their age – as long as they keep out of the way and stay out of trouble. God has different expectations. He planned for this time in their life to be a launching pad into His mission for them. They don’t have to wait until their completely grown up to do big things for God. They can do the UNEXPECTED.

Don’t worry, there will be lots of fun also. This year we will be heading to Sky Zone Trampoline Park (This portion of the day will require a waiver, please click here . Then once on the website click on waiver and fill out for your child). Lunch will be provided on the way to activity.  At Sky Zone Park students will have incredible fun and learn to overcome tough obstacles. We will also enjoy the park, challenges and complete our breakout sessions. We will end our day by coming back to NPC for a night of food, games, worship and our closing session in the your student’s first ever Journey Worship Service experience.

Bridge Event will provide a fun transition from North Pointe Kids to North Pointe Students. It is a great time for them to get to know the leaders, build friendships with the other new 6th graders, spend some time being challenged to grow in their relationship with God in new ways and have fun while making crazy memories at their first official NP Student Ministry event!  We want every new 6th grader to be able to attend, so please take a moment to sign up online by clicking HERE. Friends from outside of NPC (who are also entering 6th grade) are also encouraged to sign up! Cost for this year’s event is $50.00 per student.
