Our Jr. Kids Church services meet Sundays at 9:00 & 11:00. Our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten kids have a service designed just for them. It’s a transitional service to prepare them for our Kids Church service. Our Pre-K and Kindergarteners gather together for whole group lesson with worship, drama, and video-based teaching with a new Bible story every week. Then they separate into small groups by age for further Bible lessons that include games, crafts, Scripture memory & a small snack. These kids are also learning through play as they make connections with the kids in their grade and with our caring team of small group leaders.
In August and September, the kids are looking at the life of David, learning what God’s heart looks like, and seeing how to be kids after God’s heart! They are interacting with Dr. Heart and the animals he is treating at the veterinary clinic each week in this series: Pet Squad.
On your way home, be sure to ask your child: “What did you learn today?” and “Did you have fun?” This gives your child an opportunity to share what they learned and also helps to reinforce the knowledge they gained! Make sure to take a look at the Challenge Card for the current series for more information about what they are learning. These cards give kids opportunities to follow up at home to go deeper into what they learned at church. The cards give opportunities to memorize verses, re-visit the Scripture passage by reading it for themselves, and answering life-application questions. Kids can bring back their challenge cards on their next visit for a treat. For more information about current series and updates, visit the NPKids Facebook page
