In this season of uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19/Coronavirus Public Health concerns, North Pointe Church leadership team has been navigating how best to carry out our mission as a church while prayerfully seeking an ideal response to this health concern.

Our decisions on how to proceed are informed by the recommendations provided by the World Health Organization, CDC, and Florida Department of Health. Schools, corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations like NPC are taking precautionary steps, in an effort to help reduce the spread of the virus.

HERE IS THE CURRENT PLAN for Sunday, March 15, 2020:

  • This Sunday morning’s 8:30 AM message will be recorded and made available online by 10:30 AM. Our team will be onsite to record the service, and our doors will be open – though we strongly encourage everyone to watch from home.
  • North Pointe Kids programming is cancelled for this Sunday – which is ANOTHER reason why we strongly encourage online viewing.
  • We will be reducing or adapting NPC’s in-person ministry programs through the week. That means various classes, groups and gatherings will be postponed for the time being.
  • This Saturday’s Serve Day  and this Sunday’s Baptism Celebration have been postponed.

THANK YOU for praying for our church family and our community. We are monitoring the situation and the recommendations of health officials.

We know God is in control – even now. If we can pray for you or answer any questions, please let us know.

Let’s remember during this time that we do not serve a God of chaos and confusion, but of order and peace. He has called us to live without fear and to be bearers of light and peace in our communities. As the apostle, Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For He has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
