This month at the Table: Tuesday, September 24, 6:30PM
Worship Night
As women, we spend a lot of time looking down: at our phones, at the toddler at our feet, at our mounting to-do lists. We also gaze to the side, envious of what others have. We might even look behind us, nostalgic about the past, or ahead in hope for a more manageable, “when things calm down” future.
What if, we allow God, through time in prayer and worship and his Word, to gently place His hand under our chins and lift our eyes toward Him?
What if, we take our eyes off the circumstances and trials and focus them on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith?
What if we fix our eyes on his character and strength and experience Him as our Helper, Comforter, Shepherd, and Sustainer?
Let’s gather together this month at The Table, lift our eyes and our hearts to the One who is worthy of it all.
*Note: There is no dinner at The Table this month, but plan to stay for a few minutes at the end of our worship time to connect over dessert!
Indestructible Joy
What is “Joy” anyway? Deeper happiness? An event? A process? A philosophy? How do I get it? The purpose of this study is to examine what the Bible says about “Joy”. Is it only for a select few? Or is it available to all God’s children? Join us on Thursdays at 10:00-11:30 for 14 weeks of discovery. This study will focus on in-depth Bible study, interactive discussions, and personal application with the goals of connecting more deeply with God and each other. Join us – bring a Bible, notebook, and of course a friend!
