The story that God is writing through the life of North Pointe Church can be summarized by this: Ordinary People, Extraordinary God! Since 2004, God has worked through impossible circumstances and lives have been changed! People have connected with Jesus for the first time. Children, dads, moms and grandparents have been baptized. Marriages have been restored. Healing and freedom from addiction has been experienced. Children have been rescued from homelessness and hopelessness through local and international mission partnerships. Our desire is to be a church IN the community and FOR the community. God has provided more than we could have asked or imagined as He continues to prepare us for the future. We invite you to join us as we say yes to God…one step at a time!

We know buildings don’t change lives, but what goes on inside of them does.

At North Pointe Church, we want to be a place where people can take their next steps in their relationship with God – no matter where your starting point is. We are most often described as non-denominational with Baptist roots. We love Jesus, God’s Word and each other.

At NPC, you will find:

Authentic people. NPC is a group of ordinary people people with real problems, pursuing a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Religious rule following is out. Real life is in.

A casual atmosphere.
From where we worship to the laid back attire that most people wear, you’ll see we like casual. We highly value quality and excellence, but the suit and tie are optional!

Authentic Worship. We come together as a church to Worship God – not to watch a performance. If you listen to contemporary Christian radio, you’ll recognize our songs right away – and will be able to join in on your very first visit!

Teaching in creative, compelling ways. We believe the Bible is still incredibly relevant – it has something to say to everyone. Including you.

Practical care and help.
We will all encounter circumstances and seasons in life when we need people to walk with us.

Opportunities to enjoy real life with others. From missional small groups to family fun events to getting involved in our ministries, there are plenty of ways for you to connect.

Our mission is to know God more, make Him known & make disciples.

What We Believe

God is real. His Word is true.
This has the power to change your life.

North Pointe Church is full of people from many denominations and previous church experiences. With our diverse backgrounds in mind, we believe “In Essentials Unity, In Non-Essentials Liberty.” There are Truths of our faith that are non-negotiable and some traditions where we may lovingly have to agree to disagree. See what we believe below, the foundation of our faith and teachings. North Pointe Church affirms the Baptist Faith and Message. You can access more details on specific portions or the full statement here.

We believe that the Bible…

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

1 Timothy 3:16…

We believe in one eternal God…

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

John 3:16; John 2:25; John 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; 1 John 5:11-12; Matthew 25:31-46

We believe that Jesus Christ…

We believe that Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove is victory and empower us for life.

Matthew 1:22,23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14,15; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; Romans 1:3,4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13

We believe that forgiveness…

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and a restored relationship with God, we must repent of our sins, believe and trust in Jesus as our sacrifice and surrender to His will for our lives.

Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1
