At NPKids we believe there is nothing more important than a child’s relationship with God. We also believe no one has more potential to influence a child’s relationship with God than YOU, their parent. Our desire is to partner with parents by assisting and encouraging you in your role as spiritual leaders in your home.
On your way home, be sure to ask your child: “What did you learn today?” and “Did you have fun?” This gives your child an opportunity to share what they learned and also helps to reinforce the knowledge they gained! Make sure to look over the Family Devotional or Coloring Sheet with your child to find ways to apply what they’re learning to their every day lives. Parent-Child Dedication Celebration
Because we believe children belong to God and are given by grace as gifts to parents, it is appropriate that children be dedicated to God. Members and active attenders of NPC are invited to participate in this public commitment service. Our next Parent/Child Dedication Service will be September 8, 2019. You can register online here.
Picking Up Children
After you have attended the service, please take your pick-up sticker to your child’s classroom. For the safety of all children, we will not release a child without a matching identification number. If you wish for someone else to pick up your child, please give them the tag with the matching identification number. We will not release kids to friends or relatives unless we know that the parent has given consent by providing them with the pick-up sticker.
Our kids love the songs we sing at church every week. We believe that worship is not about a location or a song, it’s about an attitude of the heart. This playlist highlights worship songs that we use in our Kids Church environment. This playlist highlights the songs we use with our preschool through Kindergarten groups. These playlists exists to give kids the opportunity to worship God at home or in other settings with the same songs and style that we use at church in North Pointe Kids. I hope that the lyrics to these songs remind you Who you’re worshiping and Why.
Our desire is for parents with children in NPKids to join us in ministry. It is a great way for parents to know what their kids are being taught at church and be able to partner with them in their spiritual journeys. Dedicated volunteers are a vital and necessary part of NPKids. This ministry is a way to be part of a dynamic team of believers who are helping children & families know God more and make Him known. We offer long and short term positions and rotations. A volunteer application and background check are required. Click here for current opportunities or to find out more about serving.
