Welcome

We believe we have a great responsibility to partner with parents as they lead their children to follow Jesus. All ages experience God in a place created just for them during each of our Sunday services. All ages learn foundational truths about God, how to be a follower of Jesus, the importance of scripture memory, and His call for us to join Him in sharing His love with our world. Because we love kids, we value having fun and building friendships in everything we do!

Check-In & Pick Up

You will be greeted by our registration team.  At that time, you will be issued a temporary V.I.P sticker for each child and an NPKids Welcome Card with a matching number. Place the sticker on your child and keep your Welcome Card with you, since it has the pick-up number written on it. Your child’s tag will include any allergy information that you provide, but please let the individual teacher know of any information that will help in caring for your child such as dietary restriction, feeding times, sleeping times, allergies or any other specific needs. If for any reason you are needed during the service, our team will notify you by texting the number you provided or placing your number on the screen in the main service. At pickup time, we will ask that you show the teacher your Welcome Card with the number to be matched to your child’s badge. We will not release a child without a matching identification number to ensure the safety of all children.

Volunteers

North Pointe Kids has a dedicated team of background-checked adults dedicated to minister to your kids. All volunteers are trained in the policies and procedures of our ministry, including the safety of all kids and child development needs. Youth are trained to serve as assistants. Only trained female adults will assist with changing diapers or toddler bathroom assistance.

Snacks

North Pointe Kids does offer snacks weekly for children Kindergarten and under. We are a peanut-free facility and try to stay away from the most common allergens. However, if you have any dietary restrictions, please talk to the teacher in the classroom. You may provide a snack of your own, as long as it does not include peanuts. In the Kids Church service, kids are not regularly given snack, but occasionally have a snack activity that is part of the lesson.

Illness

For the safety and health of all our kids and ministry volunteers, parents are asked to NOT leave their child if the child has any of the following symptoms: a fever, skin rash, vomiting, discolored nasal discharge, pinkeye, or diarrhea. These symptoms indicate a possibility of contagious disease and we strive to keep our environments clean, sanitary, and healthy. We request that all volunteers and children are free from all such symptoms for 24 hours before entering the Children’s Ministry.

Age Divisions

We have ministry for all ages during all services, but our ages are broken up slightly differently in our three service times. If you are wondering whether or not your child(ren) will be with siblings or other friends in specific services, you can see the classes below.
