You Were Made for Freedom

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” (Galatians 5:1)

Freedom is living and experiencing the abundant life Jesus came to give us. We live in a broken world and every person experiences wounds, pain, and sin that hinder us from fully living and loving like Jesus. The enemy whispers lies throughout our life that can cause us to doubt God and His promises, question our identity, or minimize our purpose in the Kingdom. Freedom Ministry is an opportunity to recognize what is holding you back, learn how to be set free, and choose to walk in the victory that is possible through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Do you feel stuck, stalled, or unable to live out the abundant life and calling God has for you? Do any of these statements describe you?

I am not experiencing the victory that Scripture describes.
I have recurring fear.
My life in not characterized by love, joy, or peace.
I live with a familiar and repetitive insecurity.
I wrestle with constant concern of what others think of me.
I struggle to believe my future is secure.
I don’t really know who I am.
I have difficulty trusting God.
I know God is trustworthy but I don’t act like it.
I have difficulty receiving; compliments, comfort, love (hugs, etc).
I find it easy to believe others are worthy of God’s love but not for me.
I know God is there for me but I act like it really all depends on me.
I can’t forgive certain people or myself.
I struggle with frustration, anger, resentment or bitterness.
Discouragement or depression are common companions for me.
I have a recurring sin or addiction that I can’t overcome.
I need help letting go of the things holding me back.

The Freedom Walk is an 8 week journey with a small group of 6-8 adults and two facilitators.
Freedom groups are for men and women who are ready to pursue anything that gets in the way of the real love, joy, hope, peace, and freedom we are promised by Jesus. You’ll learn how to recognize the things that hold you back and be equipped to break free through biblical guidance, prayer, and transformational community. The first 7 weeks are small group environments that are closed, consistent, gender specific groups. Week 8 is a Freedom Day with all of the freedom groups gathering together for worship, teaching, guided prayer, and celebration. Your participation each week is vital to getting the most out of this experience. Therefore, please check all dates with your calendar and other obligations before you register. We can’t wait to walk with you on this journey!
